Kia ora koutou!
We are casting our net of Opportunity Conversations across Upper Harbour, with our first conversation being held in Tōtara Vale, catering particularly to the communities of Bayview, Unsworth Heights and Meadowood.
Everyone is welcome to attend — whether you live within Upper Harbour or outside the area.
RSVPs are essential to help us with seating set-up arrangements and given the size of the classroom we will be holding our conversation - capacity is limited.
The Upper Harbour Community Conversation is modelled on the principles of talanoa, where attendees join a dialogue circle facilitated by Upper Harbour candidate, Romeo Tevaga.
Unlike a traditional town hall meeting, we begin with whakawhānaungatanga to connect / feiloaki before opening the space for free-flowing conversation where everyone is welcome to share questions, comments, ideas or statements.
This is a space for open and respectful dialogue, where every voice can contribute to the conversation about the opportunities and future of our communities.
Come along, bring your voice and be part of the conversation!
