Ask Opportunity Leader Qiulae Wong anything

Voting opens on 26 October. What would you ask the leader of a political party if you had the chance? Here's your chance!

Come and meet Opportunity Leader Qiulae Wong in Pipitea. Q will be in Wellington for two days of visits, and this hour is just for young people: uni students, school students and anyone else who wants a future in Aotearoa worth sticking around for.

You'll set the agenda. Ask Q about the cost of housing, student debt, climate, jobs, mental health, or why politics keeps putting off the big decisions. And hear what Opportunity would actually do about them, including our 10-year, cross-party education plan so your schooling isn't changing direction with every change of government.

We know it's exam season, so drop in for as long as you can, even if it's just ten minutes between study sessions. There'll be food.

You don't need to be a member or a supporter, and you don't need to be old enough to vote. Bring your friends, especially the ones who haven't decided yet. All welcome.

We'll be taking photos and video. If you'd rather not be in them, just let us know on the day. We won't feature anyone under 18 without their permission.

If you're 18 or over, make sure you enrol to vote by midnight on 25 October!
