The meeting is hosted by the area's combined residents associations: Milford Residents Assn, Castor Bay Ratepayers & Residents Assn, Takapuna Residents Assn and Sunnynook Community Associations. The Milford and Castor Bay associations have hosted these meetings (for local body and general elections) for many years and have been joined more recently by Takapuna and Sunnynook.
