Meet the Hamilton Candidates

Please join us at the Settlement Centre Waikato on Tuesday June 2nd, 6-7pm and meet and connect with the Hamilton candidates and the Deputy Leader of OPPORTUNITY.

Blair Smith (Hamilton West) has spent 15 years as a paramedic, working from one end of Aotearoa to the other. He’s seen what happens when communities don’t get the support they need, and he’s passionate about helping change that.

Naomi Pocock (Hamilton East) is a mum of three boys and, like many parents, wants a future her kids can thrive in. She’s worked here and overseas in project management, lecturing, entrepreneurship, and policy writing. This is her fourth time standing with Opportunity because she believes Parliament needs more everyday people who genuinely listen.

Special Guest: Daniel Eb (Deputy Leader) Born in South Africa and with roots in both Auckland and Kaipara, Dan founded a communications agency to help tell stories about rural innovation, community building and nature-positive farming. Before joining Opportunity, he launched Open Farms - a national open farm day to reconnect urban Kiwis with the land. An industry speaker and media commentator, Dan continues to be a progressive voice for reform in the food & fibre sector.
