Kevin Huang

Kevin Huang is an Aotearoa New Zealand–born Kiwi Chinese who is proud to call Pakuranga home. He was born and raised in Pakuranga and has witnessed the growth and transformation of the East Auckland community over the years. Growing up locally gave him a strong appreciation for the diverse communities and the real-world challenges facing families, from healthcare access to cost-of-living pressures.

He has a professional background as a clinical pharmacist, working across both hospital and community settings. Through his work, he has collaborated closely with healthcare teams, contributed to system improvements, and supported better patient outcomes across a diverse population.

Kevin joined The Opportunity Party driven by a belief in pragmatic, forward-thinking policy. He is passionate about building a fairer New Zealand where everyone has access to opportunity, and where decisions are grounded in evidence to deliver long-term outcomes for communities like Pakuranga.
