Adam MacRae-Martin

Adam wants to create a world in which every family has the opportunity for a good life, no matter what brought them to the diverse Ōtāhuhu electorate.

Born and bred in Auckland, Adam has worked in three very different industries. He spent time in the public sector working as a Case Manager for Work and Income in South Auckland, in the hospitality industry overseas in Orlando (USA) at theme park resorts, and has created a 20-year career in the retail industry focused on delivering value, innovation and productivity. 

Through those experiences he has recognised that people know what they need, and that we must design systems that can deliver those needs effectively and affordably for the benefit of Aotearoa New Zealand.

In his downtime Adam spends time with his young family, celebrating their Pasifika roots, attending community events or enjoying sports. 

He has volunteered across community sport, refereeing, umpiring, and coaching across both cricket and rugby. He is driven to create environments that encourage development, collaboration and enjoyment, contributing to a thriving local community.
